We loved the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was worth every penny and the 9+ hours we spent exploring it. Aotearoa (New Zealand), Hawaiian, Tahitian, Fijian, Samoan and Tongan villages and shows give you a glimpse of what the different cultures are like. Our favorites were the Tongan drumming and the Samoan coconut cracking. We got Aotearoan tattoos, made a
fish for Sam, watched Fijian bone/ club dancing, wandered through the villages, played Samoan shuffleboard, and learned about Hawaiian religious history.

After watching the Samoans climb up a coconut tree and crack open a coconut Brandon felt reminiscent of his mission days. So we got a coconut and had it opened, drink the juice and munched on the coconut before the luau.

The food and the entertainment at the luau was fabulous. I definitely eat way too much.
