BYU Graduation 2011 : Convocation

Friday we got all dressed up again and went to Convocation. We got a lot better seats, yet still sat on the wrong side of the Marriott to see our graduate. And once again Max fell asleep and Jackson was entertained by Monsters, Inc.

We were graciously invited to lunch by the Go and Gibson family. They are families my dad baptized on his mission and have since moved to Utah. Delicious food and fabulous company.

Then off to the park again for an Easter egg hunt that Uncle Jamie and Aunt Nicole were so excited to put on for the boys.

With in some of the Easter eggs were water balloons and squirts guns along with enough candy to make an entire party sick. Jackson was more entertainment than anyone {who doesn't live with him on a daily bases} would have thought. We would give everyone a balloon and tell them to blow it up. All the while covering his ears with the possibility that it might pop.

He also started a water fight with Bridger in Nicole's apartment.

BYU Graduation 2011 : Commencement

April was the month of traveling for us. Just a week and a half after returning from NC we were off again. The two little boys and I tagged along with my parents on a weekend trip to Utah for my brother, Christopher's, graduation from BYU. After an exhausting 15 hours in the car we arrived in Provo. We let Jackson run to his heart's content at the nearby park before we went to Commencement. My master plan worked and both Jackson and Max were asleep before  the program even started.

The week before we left we were invited to a graduation/ going away party for Christopher, thrown by Christopher, catered by mom and dad. After commencement we raced home to cook Filipino food. Jackson was plenty entertained by Monsters Inc on my iTouch. He was so involved in the movie you had to physically get between the two for him to notice you were talking to him.

Spitting

Max learned a fun new trick from his cousin, Molly... spitting while eating.

We don't like food showers. A couple {soft} flicks on the mouth and we are back to normal.
