Samisms
I didn't realize it had been so long since I had posted Samisms... last February. So here are some gems that I have been saving up for a rainy day.
S: There was some magic happening in my backpack. And when I pulled my hand out there was hand sanitizer.
S: Can I have something unhealthy now? I finished all my dinner.
S: Jordan snores. I can hear her through the wall.
S: It smells like cookie toot.
S: I want to be a football player when I grow up.
later that evening he overheard Brandon and our neighbor talking
B: Yeah and do you know that players have to pay taxes in all the states they play in?
S: Nevermind. I don't want to be a football player.
After drinking some pedialyte
S: It tastes like fur. Gray fur.
After adding some capri sun for flavor
S: Now it tastes like apple and gray fur.
Sam was talking to Brandon about how mad he was at mom.
S: I am going to invite all of my friends from school over and we are going to poke mom with forks. Right on the skin.
S: That is President Obama. Glenn Beck doesn't like him. Neither does dad.
S: There are two Presidents. President Obama and President Monson. How can that be?
B: President Obama is the president of our country. And President Monson is the president of our church.
S: I saw President Obama on our TV.
B: Yes he is the President of our country, but I don't agree with everything that he is doing. He isn't making all the right choices with our taxes.
S: When I grow up I want to be a teacher for the Presidents. I want to teach them to not take our money and buy whatever they want with it, but instead just let us have it.
Sam farts
S: Smells like eggs. Yummm.
S: I am going to do that thing.
B: What thing?
S: That thing that I told you about earlier.
B: Well, just say it again.
S: I don't want to. I don't want mom to hear. She will get mad at me.
B: Don't you want some oreos?
S: No. I am on a diet.
E: Do you want to take piano lessons?
S: No. I want to take air guitar lessons.

Dad came out of Quiznos
S: How did you do on your quiz?
S: Can you see through skin?
B: No.
S: Then how did you know that I had to go to the bathroom?
S: Please bless the apostles to not mess anything up. (in his prayer)
S: If I were an elephant, I would use my trunk as a squirt gun.
S: Now can I play some video games? I am done with my chores and ready to rot my brain.

Chalk A Lot
This started out as Max's 11 month photo shoot, but turned into so much more. Perfect lighting, cute models and a photographer who didn't want to clean the house.
can't help but melt when I see this face
can't forget this goofball : thanks for the camo gear lola
The boys and Bella, our neighbor, were having so much fun I thought I would join in too. Just a little prep for Jackson's birthday tomorrow. I wrote out the message and Bella and Sam embellished it with messages and drawing.

Kindergarten Round Up
Every year the kindergarteners put on a cowboy themed program on all the songs they have learned throughout the year. I don't think there is anything cuter. Sam was all smiles. Probably helped that his very loud brother, Jackson, would yell out, "Hi Sammy!" in between every song.

sam and mrs. dent
mckenna, aliya, sam, mitchell, alix, erin, tyler and allison
Sam was lucky enough to be in a class with so many kids from church. We are missing Dallin and Allison joined the photo, but this gives you a good idea of the support group Sam will have going to school.

Let's Just Cuddle
These two definitely have a special relationship. Max always lights up when he sees Sam. And Sam has a special tenderness with Max that he doesn't share with Jackson. While all three love each other, there is just something special between these brothers. Evident by the fifteen minutes they cuddled and watched Phineas and Ferb.

Samisms
S: Dad, do you think that someday I will be strong enough to carry a clock?
S: I am so hungry. Why do you want me to starve to death?
M: Is that cookie good?
S: It is gooder than a dead duck.
S: I love mom. I love dad. I love Jackson. I love Max. I do not like wolves. {sung in song}
S: My cut turned to sting.
In hopes of going to the movies
S: These are my theater pants. I don't wear them to school. Just to the movies.
S: I am so sneaking. If I don't want to do what you asked me to do, I can just sneak away. {As he proceeds to describe in detail how he plans on getting out of the room}. I am just so sneaky mom.
M: Why don't we erase that so it doesn't get all over your sweatshirt?
S: Mom, it has a name. I named it Sweaty. How are you doing Sweaty? Feeling a little sweaty? Haha.
S: Tickle yourself, it is very ticklish.
We passed a Sam's Club
S: Only Sam's can go in, but I will let you tag along.
S: I want a sparkle (sprinkle) donut.
Jackson had set up some bed for his stuffed animals while playing today, which got demolished when Sam was throwing a fit and stuff off his bunk. This is the following conversation:
J: Sammy, why did you do that?
S: Sorry Jackson. I just threw my braces down and your thing was in the way.
J: That was not very nice.
S: You aren't the parent.
J: Yeah, but this is my room.
S: This is my room too.
J: Yeah but I made it. ( I think this was referring to whatever Sam broke earlier)
S: You didn't make this room. You didn't paint it or make the bed.
J: Uh huh.
S: No you didn't. I don't know who did, but maybe it was Bob the Builder.
J: Huh? (Perked up ears and raised eyebrows.)
S: Yeah maybe he made the room and our house and this bed and that dresser and the mirror...But he didn't paint it. Mom painted our room. And no one made the beds today.
