Next time he will listen

My family always took road trips, driving mostly at night, which was easier with seven kids. Brandon has never really liked driving at night. So when we were given the opportunity to go back to our college campus for Brandon to speak and to visit friends and family, Brandon opted to leave during the day after Sam got out of school. I tried to persuade him that a nighttime drive would be better. He won. This is how our drive went...

Lunch in the car with two dropped sandwiches on the floor.
Naps with cramped necks, because mom forgot to pack pillows.
Three stops to feed Max and ice cream for everyone else.

one dropped ice cream cone
several messy faces

two gum balls for two little boys

one stop to look for a spiderman that fell under the seat
two bottles worth of water on the seat

one cute kid with green sunglass one size too big

one stop to clean previously said gum off hands

But we finally made it to Rexburg... at 4 o'clock the next morning. I have a very strong feeling our ride home, and many other trips, will be made at night.

Awesome! Adam and I so want to visit Rexburg some time. I hope you made a stop at Georgetown too just to remember the good old Rexburg Housing days!
