Brandon was asked to speak at Art Seminar and a Children's Literature Conference being held at BYU-Idaho. We remember attending the Art Seminars while we were in school, so it was pretty exciting to go back and be on the other side. He talked about his journey from copying Brandon Norman's (no joke) art in junior high to being a freelance illustrator, the publishing industry and working your tail end off.

Brandon was approached before the Art Seminar by a couple of students, who we didn't know, but they recognized Brandon from his photo on posters around campus. Love the uncanny resemblance of the first poster. Then we found the poster they were more likely talking about.
On Friday, Brandon gave an open critique and demo for the art students.
