The weather has been beautiful lately. (Well, except for just about an hour ago when it was hailing and snowing.) A couple of days ago, I spent the afternoon cleaning the yard, planting fall bulbs (still catching up), and playing with the boys. Jackson woke up from his nap and Brandon got him dressed to join us in the sun. Jackson is wearing his snuggie, aka Sam's coat and no pants. Leave it to a dad.
Sam enjoyed kicking balls, digging in the dirt and decorating our sidewalk. He was my big helper planting the bulbs. He is so excited for our flowers to "pop out of the dirt!" He also helped me crumble dried up daffodil bulbs in an attempt to keep the neighborhood deer out of our yard and eating my plants. Cross your fingers it will work. Sam can't, because "then you can't grab anything." Silly kid.

I love this picture of Sam. I wish I could be sprawled on the concrete next to him.
Those are SUCH fabulous pictures! So bright and fun! I love that snuggie idea. Geesh that was smart!!
I think you could alternate between sam-isms and dads-do-the-darndest-things! Hehe, Love it. And if you're sitting in a stroller you don't need pants- huh. Jake agrees.
haha sam is soo funny! I laughed at this one too.. It will be fun when Ethan gets to be that age. But for now I am enjoying him learning how to sit up!
