Well, today we are at 5 weeks and counting. I had a doctor's appointment on Monday and everything is looking good. Two weeks ago the baby was head down and now he is breech. We are hoping with as much as he moves around that he will turn and not be as difficult as Sam was.
We are still debating over scheduling a C-section and just seeing what happens naturally. Brandon is supportive of either, so it is basically me being indecisive. I like the idea of being about to schedule a C-section a week or so early and having it over with. I know what is going to happen and don't remember the recovery being too bad. At the same time I want to try going natural, but am really nervous about all that involves and the recovery. Too many people sharing their bad experiences. We have decided to see what progresses in the next couple of weekly appointments and go from there.
Sam is getting very excited. Every morning we talk about what we are going to do that day. If I mention, "Guess who is coming over today." Sam always replies, "THE BABY!!!!" He let me know this morning that the baby was coming out today. He continues to give the baby hugs and kisses and tell him that he is so cute .
For some reason, I can't post any pictures so you will all have to wait a little longer.

That's tough....going early would be nice. I delivered all mine vaginally (I assume that is what you mean when you say naturally) and I never had any problems...I was up going for walks the day after we came home from the hospital and healed great. I never tore or had an episiotomy-- But I know that's not the case for everyone.
But then again, if you've only had a c-section, it's hard to know if you will end up needing one again- at the last minute, in which case you might as well schedle early.
Wow...tough call! Good luck!!!!
Do you yet realize, that a human being is coming out of your body. We will soon have a mini-Sam to entertain us.
glad to hear things are going well with the pregnancy. i remember how hard of a time you had with Sam, but i am an advocate of letting them come as naturally as they will...i think you're smart to see how things go and call it from there.
Emily- I'm so excited for you. You will have to keep us updated. I can't believe that you only have 5 weeks to go. Good luck
It's funny. Women that have only had C-sections usually wouldn't want it any other way and those that didn't are scared to death of C-sections. My delivery with Aden was super hard but with Lincoln it was honestly a breeze. Right after, no kidding-I was like, I can do this again. The dr said you just have to first child done and the 2nd is a piece of cake. hopefully that's the case with you. I'd be scared to have a C-section. I love seeing the baby come out so I think you have a tough call. :) Good luck!

Emily! I randomly stumbled upon your blog today through a mutual friend. I didn't know you're having another baby! That's so exciting! Where are you guys living?
I'm living in Hawaii and still dating Evan Stout. We're actually moving back to Washington in a couple months. Life's good! Congratulations ahead of time on the new baby! :)

Marc cut Aden's hair with a #1 instead of a #2 so I guess he's got his summer haircut-we won't have to cut it again until fall-that's the good news, bad news is he looks pretty silly for a few weeks. :)

What a good boy sam is. Greta seems to just be throwing fits everyday and doesn't want to talk about the baby at all. Yikes - this may be tricky. I can't believe you are that close already!! I'm telling you people share their bad experiences no matter what - doesn't that get old. Everyone has me freaked out that I will have no time and have to deliver in the car on the way to the hospital.
sorry we missed you the other day. I saw you guys pull in, but greta was in the bath and I guess we did not hear the door when you knocked. Bummer - I would have liked to see you.
Hi Emily!
What is your email and I can send you my address!
Good luck with everything and I dont know if you said or not..but are you having a boy or girl?
I can't believe it's coming so soon! though I'm sure your done!!!
My sis-in-law had a v-bac and didn't have any problems. The only complaint was that she couldn't be induced..so she had to wait until all the contractions came or her water broke-I'm not good at that part! Anyways, whatever you choose will be great because you'll have a baby in the end!!! I hope everything goes well for you! and can't wait to see him! (boy right?) :)
I also had a c-section with my Mallori- I don't know what I'm going to do with my next (when that comes).
Anyway- what's your email address so I can email you my home address.
