We love fall

This is the face we see when Jackson sees the camera or we tell him to "cheese it." I can't resist it. Too cute.

We spent the afternoon outside enjoying the beautiful fall day. The leaves are gorgeous, though Jackson preferred running away down the sidewalk and Sam was helping his stuffed dog get a closer view of the changing leaves. Until he got stuck in the tree. Twice. And we had to get him down with a tree pruner. Twice. End of that activity.

B: Is she kinda chubby?

S: She is kinda fat too.

E: (sneezing and blowing my nose)

S: That sounded just like thunder

S: (in his prayer) ...Thank thee for heaven. Thank thee for batman. Thank thee for Lighting McQueen. Thank thee for the food....

Why?

I did a photo shoot for a family the other day. Before theirs, I thought I could get a couple of shots of my boys. WRONG! They wouldn't even look at the camera.

Wicked

Brandon and I were able to go to Wicked the Musical. We LOVED it! The stage and props were amazing, the costumes were so fun, the music was fabulous and the theatre was gorgeous. I spent the whole next day listening to the soundtrack and busting out in song. I can't wait till our next musical, just have to figure out what it is.

Show and Tell

Sam and Laura had show and tell in preschool this week. I stayed to take pictures (because I am a mom and baby is growing up too fast, so I have to document). It was so fun to see him playing with the other kids, going over the weather and day of the week, and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Sam made up his own clues for his show and tell and did a really good job talking to the class. He doesn't know all the kids by name yet, so it was funny to see him call on Laura, Aubrey May and Aubrey Nicole because he always talks about the two Aubreys in his class.

Can you guess?

Sam shared his copy of Santa's Stowaway. He shared how his daddy wrote and illustrated the book. How the main elf was named after him and the book was dedicated to him. He did such a good job! What a big boy.

And it is still cooler than a toy dinosaur.
