One of the most anticipated days of the year is finally here...the first day of school. Sam is now in 2nd grade with Mrs. Dornan (really close) as a teacher. And this is Jackson's first year of preschool. He is beyond ecstatic. We began the day with our family walking Sam to school, waiting in line for the bell to ring, getting a sneak peek of his classroom and meeting his teacher.

Apparently all of Sam's friends are extremely tall. His two best friends, Tyler and Collin are both right around his height.
Then we ran home to drive Jackson over to his preschool. He was so excited to be at school, he didn't want to stay still for a photo, he didn't wait to say goodbye or have any hesitation. To feel like I was a little more of a part of the day, we took our preschoolers out for some lunch and frozen yogurt after school.
