Ever couple of years there is an Air Show at the local military bases. We thought the boys would have a ball seeing all the planes and watching them do tricks. They might need to be a little older to really appreciate it next time. It was a very warm and there was a lot of walking and the boys weren't loving our sauna walk. But we had to come and see our neighbor, Ryan, and his plane, the C-17.

where's max?
I didn't think about how loud all the planes and their afterburners would be, especially for Ellie. So as we watched the Thunderbirds (Air Force version of the Blue Angels) I would cover her ears with the blanket and try to muffle the sound as much as I could. She didn't like the fact that I was smooshing her ears and face with a blanket.

Somehow I missed this post! Thanks for a fun day :) Ryan LOVED getting to show off his plane to his favorite little boys. I'm stealing some of these... We need more photos of our neighbors!
