Brandon, Sam and Jackson were playing in the "jungle" of our backyard. They climbed trees and have big plans for building a fort this summer.

S: Mom, you know what is really tough?

E: What?

S: Oxy Clean. It can get anything out.

S: On Valentine's everyone loves their mom.

E: What about every other day?

S: They don't. They like their dad.

E: We don't take you to nice restaurants [because you don't eat the food]

S: I don't eat at home either.

E & B: Very true.

S: Mom, you know what starts with a c?

E: What?

S: An Ocean.

Get it? A sea?

E: Is dad in the shower?

S: Yeah. He is stinkin' hot!

Fire Station

Today Sam's preschool class took a field trip to the local fire station. Sam was so excited to go. He has been talking about it all month. He wants to be a fireman and an artist (loves his daddy) when he grows up.

Cravings

The weather has been beautiful the last week, and hopefully for a little longer. Sunny and warmish. We had some friends over to play the other day and the Schwann's man stopped by with some free ice cream. If only it had been about 20 degrees warmer, you could have fooled us it was summer. Knowing that the rain is bound to return, the sunny days are just making us crave summer... and ice cream.

Happy Valentine's Day

On Thursday, Sam's preschool had their Valentine's party. Fun full of musical chairs, scavenger hunts, cookie decorating, lovey dovey stories, and sharing valentines.

Oh to be four again.

Surgery Update

We received the 6 week notice for Sam's surgery. On March 17th, Sam will have...

1. Bilateral tendo achilles lenthening

2. Posterior release

3. Anterior tibial tendon transfer

... or according to Sam, "getting his crooked feet fixed."

Being St. Patrick's Day, Sam has already requested green casts, his favorite color.
