Thursday morning, while we went to the temple with Melissa, Jillian and Jordan took the boys and cousins to the splash pad just around the corner. How fun would it be to have a splash pad a block away? Or even to have it be warm enough to visit a splash pad whenever you want?
The boys had fun with their cousins and the water. For whatever reason, their favorite was having the water spray you in the bum. Boys!
absolutely adore this little boy
Mom and Nicole organized a girl's trip to get manicures at a local beauty college. Lesson learned: don't go to a beauty college. Bad experience, good bonding moment. Though we mainly bonded over the fact that we could have filed and painted our nails better... Blindfolded and handcuffed.

After a little shopping trip, which decimated any decent looking nail job, we met at a local park for a very informal rehearsal dinner and wiffle ball game with Aaron's family. I have a ton of photos of Aaron's nephews and niece and very few of my own boys. Probably because when their aunts and uncles {who are all fighting for the favorite position} are around they avoid me like the plague.

First of all, love your idea about getting your nails done. So that's why you are all looking so intently at something else! lolz And all those kid pics are charming, Em. (PS. The water park's inspired.)
I had a similar experience in Rexburg this summer at Beauty College. Glad you guys had a good trip and thanks for inviting me to your blog! :-)
