Master and Minion

minion (minyen) noun; a follower or underling of a powerful person, esp. a servile or unimportant one. 

This morning Brandon and I started a joke and it has just kinda kicked off from there. Brandon's feet were cold and because he was comfortable in his chair and busy working he was going to see if Sam would get his slippers out of our closet for him. Well, Sam and I were busy doing a puzzle so Brandon got them on his own. During our conversation the word minion was used and since Brandon loves teaching Sam a word of the week, minion has become this week's word. 

Brandon has been telling Sam, "You are my little minion. Will you do all my dirty work?"

Earlier today Brandon and Sam were playing in the toy room, the next thing I know Sam was trying to put a little toy car down my pants. Brandon was peeking around the corner and laughing hysterically. Sam disappeared and then came back with another little car to put in my shirt. This time he said, "Dad is telling me all the dirty stuff."

Side Note: Notice Sam's most recent "smile." It looks really evil, which fits this topic perfectly. Also don't be alarmed by the way we all look and are dressed. I haven't been feeling very well, Sam is in the middle of potty training and Brandon works from home, so we often have all PJ days at our house. 

Sam loves his daddy so much. He has to do everything Brandon does or says from using tools to fix the car, helping make smoothies, sitting the same when they are watching TV, working on the computer, putting pencils behind their ears (a Brandon trademark), or using pencils, rulers and triangles to measure and cut mattes for some artwork (what they are doing as I am writing this up.)
