Brandon mentioned once I should start a blog for our little family, because he has one for his illustration and loves it. I just brushed it off thinking I didn't have enough time to keep up a blog. Then I realized I was spending all of my time looking at our friends and family's blogs. I figure it might actually be a useful thing for us. I have good intentions to send out emails with family updates and photos, but they often don't get past the thought. I also have a hard time remembering to write in my journal. So hopefully this will help me get better at both and of course get post pictures of the Sam and what we've been up to. We will see how I do...

We have a super cute little family! Brandon is a freelance illustrator while our 2 year old Sam and I hang out at home. We moved to Washington about a year ago and just bought our first home! We close and move in this week. I am really excited to start painting, decorating, shopping and working in the yard. Sam is all boy! He loves cars, trucks, anything that involves a ball, tractors, guns and his new chainsaw toy from his best friends Taiya. He is such a helper, always wanting to be in the middle of whatever is going on from helping washing the car to making pancakes. He loves his daddy and has his own chair in the studio, where they draw pictures together.
