Waterbottle Rocket
One gorgeous Sunday, Brandon decided to try and make a water bottle rocket with the boys. It was supposed to launch with vinegar, baking soda and toilet paper. FAIL. It actually did successfully shoot one time. But with a combination of uneven pressure and an impatient Brandon they would explode before they would launch.
The biggest explosion failure. Brandon tipped it just as it was going to launch and got showered with vinegar and toilet paper.
max thought it was pretty amusing
the one time that it launched : confused at the failures
the boys eager with anticipation

Getting Ready for Baby Girl
I can't help but feel like I haven't given this little girl the spotlight on the blog that I did while I was pregnant with the boys. When we went in for our ultrasound, Brandon explained to the tech that we have three boys and we were planning on another. As she got started with the ultrasound, the first thing out of her mouth was, "Oh, It's a Girl!" I was shocked, for two reasons, not only because it was a GIRL, but also because I was expecting to find out at the end of the ultrasound and not at the beginning. I started laughing and couldn't stop. I think it was my form of crying tears of joy. I was laughing so hard, I did in fact start crying. Poor tech, I couldn't keep my belly still for her to get all the measurements.
After the ultrasound we have been busy with Disneyland, school, work and life in general. Most people were shocked to hear that I hadn't been shopping for this little girl or we hadn't thought of names yet. Partially we have been busy and part of me still doesn't believe that it is real.
Fortunately I have amazing friends who were excited to help make it a little more real...

gorgeous cake and delicious food

It is all a little more real now. Just waiting for her to join us.

Easter 2012
This year we were lucky enough to spend Easter Sunday with lots of family. My Uncle Will & Aunt Mischa and my cousins were visiting from Utah, Michael & Susie and baby Emily and all of my siblings that were in Washington. We had a Koontz style egg hunt; sorted by colors.
